BASIC GUIDE FOR APERTURE SIZE

Our recommendations are based not on science, but simply working with hundreds of oil extractors over the years.  Therefore, each partner may need to do their own R&D to ensure the best solution based on their oil.

  • When adding less (-) than 10% Terpenes or Cutting Agent, we recommend using a 2.0mm aperture setting.
  • When adding more (+) than 10% Terpenes or Cutting Agent, we recommend using a 1.5mm aperture setting.

The following Terpene Guide is designed to help our partners better understand the common terpenes found in many cannabis strains today. Again, we understand the optimal heat settings are subjective to individual preference, but recommend the following configurations.

  • When the dominant terpene or cutting agent has a boiling point less than 350 ° F, we recommend a voltage setting on your battery of no more than 3.2v.
  • When the dominant terpene or cutting agent has a boiling point between 350° F and 400° F, we recommend a voltage setting on your battery of no more than 3.6v.
  • When the dominant terpene or cutting agent has a boiling point more than 400° F, we recommend a voltage setting on your battery of no more than 4.0v.
